Arsenal 1-1 Bolton: Toure rescues Reebok replay |
|
Kolo Toure was the hero as Arsenal came from behind to earn a FA Cup fourth-round replay with a 1-1 draw against a determined Bolton side at the Emirates Stadium.
StuForster/GettyImages Nolan slots home Bolton's well worked opener In an all-too-familiar story, the home side failed to kick into gear until after they had gone behind, which this time was five minutes into the second half when skipper Kevin Nolan netted from close range. It then seemed only a matter of time before the Gunners drew level, with Toure obliging through a diving header at the far post with 12 minutes to go. However, not for the want of trying they were unable to conjure an equaliser until that point. Now boss Arsene Wenger must take his men back up to the Reebok Stadium for a midweek replay, in the week beginning February 12 when they had been scheduled to play a rearranged Barclays Premiership clash with Manchester City. |
