Zlatan Ibrahimović (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈslaːtan ɪbraˈhiːmovɪtʂ], Bosnian pronunciation: [ˈzlatan ibraˈxiːmɔʋitɕ]) is a Swedish professional footballer that was born 3 October 1981. He is one of the most well paid players in the world and have spent most of his career in Serie A in Italy but have also played in Barcelona and Ajax. He has played in Milan, Inter and Juventus in the Italian Serie A. He currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain where he plays as forward and striker.
His career started in Sweden in the late 90s when he played for Malmö FF. He was signed by Ajax and quickly made a name for himself that catapulted his career. He has won a number of different individual trophies such as he Italian Oscar del Calcio and the Swedish Guldbollen. He has been a part of winning the Scudetti, the Italian championships, 4 times. 3 of which was in a row with inter. In 2009, he transferred to Barcelona for €69 million, the second highest transfer fee in football history. He never fitted well into Barcelona and returned to Serie A the next season to play for Milan and win his 4th Scudetti.
